The Gold Star Club will conduct at least one major planned fundraiser and one community mail effort our each year to provide a foundation of funds in a reward account. 

Additionally, in the event of an especially noteworthy crime and/or at the request of the Sheriff of Manatee County, an appeal will be made  to the public to make donations directly to the reward fund. Gold Bank of Bradenton has agreed to be a community partner with the Gold Star Club and serve as the depository for the donations.  News media releases will be prepared to inform the community of our actions and progress relating to crimes in which a reward has been posted.  Money collected from the public by the Gold Star Club of Manatee County will be deposited into an account that will be used exclusively for rewards for crimes committed in Manatee County.

The Gold Star Club is an IRS  qualified 501 c-3 charitable organization  and has registered with the State of Florida as a charitable organization.  To obtain the FEID # of the Gold Star Club, contact   Ron Getman 941-725-4500
