Our only fundraiser of the year is Caribbean Night. The Next Caribbean Night event will be on July 26th, 2008 the last Saturday in July. The Anna Maria Oyster Bar will serve their fabulous frozen tropical drinks. Budweiser will be on hand to quench your thirst. Look for snacks to be available. We serve ground sirloin steak on a bun (cheeseburgers in paradise), a great treat. Also served is Belly Buster hot dogs, the grand-daddy of the dogs. (All food and drinks are at a minimal charge) We areTaking table reservations for 2008 now! Click onto the reservation form near the bottom of this page, print it and mail it to me with a check. The next Caribbean Night dance will be July 26th, 2008. Come early!!! Dancing begins at 7:30 PM . We will have our disk jockey Scott Kemp doing the songs of the Key's and the Caribbean. Enjoy reggae, merengue, and island style songs. Our Disk Jockey does a great job at playing music you want to dance to. We will be at the Bradenton City Center on the waterfront. All floor seating is reserved for those who reserve a table.

Gold Star Club of Manatee County, Inc. Caribbean Night 2008 Table Prices Saturday, July 26, 2008This year a choice will be given for those who wish to be recognized for their support. Below is a description of the three different packages available: Note:::We do not sell individual tickets. Tables of 10 only. Individuals Package- $300 for a Table for 10. Business Package
Corporate or Major Sponsor Package - $1000 for a table for 10. And includes the following:
Your donation will be to the Gold Star Club Reward Fund. You may purchase beverage and food tickets in advance for $1 each when you reserve your table. I will need the name you wish the table to be reserved in and the name the beverage tickets will be reserved in. You may pick up the beverage tickets at the door. Dress for the event will be Florida Formal. For the new folks it is: Deck shoes, no socks, Bermuda shorts, Caribbean shirt and a Panama Jack hat. For the ladies, close to the same or a colorful Hawaiian type dress. Total profits are designated for the Gold Star Reward Fund of Manatee County, a club registered in the state as a charitable organization and recognized by the IRS as a 501 c3 charitable organization. The proceeds will fund rewards for the Law Enforcement agencies of Manatee County to help capture those who commit the most serious of criminal acts against our residents.
